Coon Rapids woman is 5th train-vehicle crash fatality
A woman who died after her vehicle was struck by a train Sunday night apparently drove the car onto the tracks and put it in park, officials said.
“She pulled up onto the crossing, put her car in park, and waited for the train to come,” Grand Junction Fire Chief Mark Renslow said.
Kristina Becker-Duroe, 52, of Coon Rapids was pronounced dead at the scene.
