Des Moines group walks to ‘stop the violence’
Tiffany Hamilton serves as the voice for her dead son.
“I’m going to fight for him every day,” Hamilton said. “I love him. I miss him.”
Hamilton’s son, Corey, died in October 2012 after being shot in the head. His mother joined more than 100 people Saturday morning who walked through several Des Moines blocks where gun violence and other disputes have often ended tragically.
