ATV hit twice by cars in Des Moines; operator is fatally hurt
An all-terrain vehicle operator died after colliding with cars at an east Des Moines intersection late Thursday, authorities said.
Des Moines Police Sgt. Jason Halifax said the department receives calls daily about people driving ATVs on city streets, which is illegal.
