Ankeny man facing child porn charges found dead
An Ankeny man who was charged in a child pornography investigation was found dead at a rural Polk City home Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
Polk County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for assistance at the house northwest of Polk City at 1:15 p.m. When deputies arrived, they discovered the dead body of Paul Thomas Hildreth, 48, said Sgt. Brett Long.
