In New Hartford, time to flee again
NEW HARTFORD, IA. — Kim Manley watched flood water form a moat around her home Tuesday afternoon, a sight she’s seen numerous times before.
Still, “it’s usually not this bad,” said Manley as she looked at her flooded front yard.
For the third time in as many weeks, a swollen Beaver Creek left its banks and caused an evacuation order to be issued to New Hartford’s 500 residents.
