
ROCK RAPIDS, Ia. – Mike Klarenbeek couldn’t hold back tears Wednesday as he described his flooded northwestern Iowa business.
“I don’t know why I get so emotional,” Klarenbeek said. “I haven’t talked about it at all.”
Klarenbeek, 37, has owned Rapid Auto Repair in Rock Rapids for seven years. The shop flooded this week when the area was inundated with heavy rainfall.
