Iowa State University received its second-highest amount of external funding on record in fiscal year 2014, university officials said Wednesday.
External funding increased to $368.4 million in the fiscal year that ended June 30, according to a university publication.
That was a 12.9 percent increase from the previous year’s $326.4 million. It was also the second-highest amount on record for the university.
