
Des Moines police say they again saw good results from a group of officers who tackled problem areas citywide during warm-weather months.
The police captain who oversees the group said he believes the Summer Enforcement Team will form again next year.
“It’s been such a successful part of what we do in policing that it’ll be around,” said Des Moines Police Capt. Tony Steverson, commander of community outreach and protective services. “There’s no question about that.”
