The League of United Latin American Citizens of Iowa will use money from a recently acquired grant to reach out to the state’s Latinos and encourage them to vote Tuesday, the organization’s state director announced at a news conference Saturday.
“This is the first time we’ve done this in Iowa to this extent, and we’re going to continue to do even more of this every election year,” said Joe Enriquez Henry, state director of LULAC of Iowa.
